Mobile Services on the way |

The demand for mobile services has increased dramatically since the advent of the Apple iPhone, especially in areas where it is important to be able to access real-time information when traveling. Therefore we have been taking these needs seriously at Alvis.
Over the years we have built a number of extranet – based solutions for our customers. Many of these are nowadays often being accessed via mobile devices as well. In response to growing demand we have started an InfoManager mobile application project, which will enable us to offer or customers real- time reporting to their phones in an easy fashion. We plan to launch Alvis Mobile Manager this year.

New Web pages have been under construction for a while now. This project has been a really interesting extra in addition to InfoManager work. The plan has been to create an easily- maintained site where we can lay emphasis on a customer oriented approach, which is demonstrated by the animation on the first page. A Navigator allegory is used to clarify the benefits of Alvis to the customer by comparing Alvis functionality to the guidance received from the familiar device in our cars.
