French speaking InfoManager User Day held on June 16th in Paris has attracted 20 enthusiastic participants. A leisurely chatter over morning coffee in Sofitel hotel’s meeting room gave a good start to the day despite a small traffic problem in Paris due to which some of the guests arrived a bit later than expected. The organizers, Sami Pirkkanen (Alvis) ja Michel Remacle (Fic Consulting), warmly welcomed all participants.

The first presentation held by Carole Bachman Cossu (Wynne Systems, Inc.) covered a brief history of Wynne Systems, its activities, products and key customers. Next Sami presented InfoManager WebAdviser and its new features. With the help of a detailed demo and customer cases the participants had a chance to explore WebAdviser, new Dashboards and possibilities on how WebAdviser can be integrated into customer’s own portals. The first part of the day ended with a lunch served at the hotel’s restaurant where informal discussion and exchange of information continued among the guests. After lunch the participants were introduced to InfoManager Messenger by demo. Using examples Sami explained the idea of what conditional reporting is at its best and how users can make the most of it.

During the day, the participants have also discussed the new features of InfoManager OLAP Server and how Alvis SMS reporting can be used today. At the end of the event, the guests brought to light the features they would like to have in our products.

According to the feedback of the participants there is a need for a similar information-rich event for French speaking users to be organized also in 2012. We would like to thank all of the participants for their active participation and valuable feedback!
